Research Interests
My research interests are in the areas of Computer Systems, Networks and Security – especially in the interplay between these areas. A particular focus is on issues related to security and novel networking technologies for cyber-physical, real-time and embedded systems.
At a high level, my current research topics include, (1) integration of security as a first-class principle in the design of real-time cyber-physical systems;
2. Behavior-based intrusion detection systems for cyber-physical systems with real-time properties and 3. Use of software-defined networking in safety-critical systems cyber-physical systems.
3. Use of software-defined networking in safety-critical systems cyber-physical systems.
4. Software Defined Control for Smart Manufacturing Systems
5. Isolation and Security for lightweight Cloud Computing Infrastructures
6. Detecting anomalous behavior in distributed energy systems (DERs)
